Bus beats booze bug
Members of the Taupo Lions Club hired buses this year to transport them to and from their changeover night celebrations in a bid to promote the "Don't Drink and Drive" campaign. On Thursday night 107 Lions and their guests were picked up at pfe-selected "bus stops" and taken to dinner, the changeover ceremony' and the social , function at the Wairakei conference centre. And when all the festivities were over they were transported home — safely.
