JAYCEES SCOOP POOL
Taupo Jaycees scooped the pool in the Bay of Plenty debating final last week at the Bay of Plenty regional conference held at Edgecumbe. The team of Peter Mayer, Blair Hill and
Peter McKenna defeated the Mount Maunganui side convincingly on the subject that "Women are More Practical Than Men." Taupo argued the negative case.
This is the first time Taupo Jaycees have won this event. Taupo Jaycees, led'by President Ian MacPherson, plaved a prominent part in thc conference proceediifgs by provid-
ing chairmen and leaders for discussion groups. The chapter also won the trophy for sending the most members the greatest distance to the conference. ,
