Second in tourney
Taupo came second in the Bader Shield netball tournament played at Tokoroa last Saturday. Tokoroa won the tournament with 39 points. Putaruru was third with points. Taupo's 18 points came from. — Kiwi I 4, Rebels I 4, Tihoi 4, United I 4, Commanders I 2. Rebels II scored no points. At the finish of the tournament, Mrs Y. Sycamore, selector/coach for South Waikato, announced the players for the final trials to be held in Putaruru on Sunday. From Taupo: I. Henry, N. Davison, J. Hughey. From Tokoroa: C. Dryden, H.
