Members welcomed
Several new members were welcomed to the June meeting of the Taupo women's section of the New Zealand National Party. More than 60 people attended the function, at which Mrs P. Smith presided. The guest speaker was Canon Ralph Matthews.
His address — "New Life , Styles" — touched on many aspects in today's changing world. Club members showed keen interest in the jumble sale to be held on September 10 and the spring fair to be held on September 21. The next lunch meeting will be held on July 3.
