The floral art night class at Tauponui-a-Tia Coilege has been "swamped" by applicants after only one advertisement in the Taupo Times. The class opened for the first time this term and already has a roll of 22 — a little more than full. "We realise that some
people will be disappointed by the lack of vacancies in this class but places may be available in the third term," said the evening class supervisor, Mr P. M. Wilson. Vacancies exist in metalcraft, hobby metalwork, shorthand typing, woodwork and art. There is also a separate typing class.
