SERIES OF MEETINGS

The local congregations of the Baptist Church and the Heu Heu Street Brethren Assembly combine this coming week for a series of inspirational meetings at the commencement of the new Church Year. The guest speaker will be the Rev. John Pritchard, vice-principal of the N.Z. Bible Training Institute Auckland. The theme of his messages, commencing this Sunday, and continuing through the week, as advertised is . . "Elijah . Man of Destiny." Mr Pritchard, before his

present appointment, has pastored Baptist Churches in Great Britain and Auckland. His Bible based ministry has been widely accepted in "Deeper Life" and Missionary conventions throughout the world. On the two Sundays, the congregations will be worshipping separately, with Mr Pritchard giving identical addressed in both Churches . . . on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, the meetings will be combined, and held in the Baptist Church Hall..
