Mrs B. Smith (above), relinquished her position as information officer at the Taupo Information Centre on Sunday. She has accepted a post on the clerical staff of the Ministry of Transport and will remain in Taupo. Mrs Smith, who worked at the information centre for four years, will be replaced by Mrs R. G. Burlace, who assumes her duties on February 1.
