The postal and savings bank branches of the Taupo Post Office will open between 9 and 11.30 a.m. on Auckland Anniversary Day, Febru ary 1. The telegraph branch will be serviced from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Telegrams may be lodged at the telephone exchange when the postal counter closes at 11.30 a.'m.
