EXEMPTION ALLOWED

The secretary of the Northern Drivers' Union, Gordon Harold Anderson,was granted a partial exemption from the disqualification terms of his licence to allow him to drive between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays when he made application before Mr M. C. Astley S.M. in the Taupo Magistrate's Court on Tuesday. Anderson was disqualified for 12 months after being convicted of a charge of dangerous driving and failing to give way at an intersection in the Taupo court last month.
