Relieving Magistrate
The bench at Tuesday 's sitting of the Taupo Magistrate's Coiirt was occupied by Mr M. C. Astley, S.M., in the absence of Mr W. R. Birks, S.M., who was on a short leave. Mr. Astley is a relieving magistrate and had taken over the Rotorua circuit for Mr Birks. Mr Birks will return to Taupo for the next sitting of( the court on February 9.
