Sharp 'quake

Residents in Taupo were shaken from their slumbers early yesterday morning by an earthquake of moderate magnitude. Seismologists of the D S.I.R. in Wellington said the quake registered 4.5 on the Reichter scale. The epi-centre of the earthquake, which occurred at 5.56 a.m. was 215 miles from Wellington.
