Swimming
Taupo swimmer John Burton has been selected to represent Bay of Plenty in the Barry Shield carnival to be swum on Saturday. The Taupo club team to swim in the Arawa Open car- * nival at the Rotorua Boys' High School next Tuesday, January 19, is: Monica Flight, Arno Byneveldt, Adrian Orr, Sara McLeod, Leanne McDonnell, Susan Burton, Mary Bloomfield, Carolyn Nwynerynen, William Cage, Patrick Goldsmith, Robert Hollis, Stuart Orr, Bryan Loomans, Norma Habib, John Burton, Chris Fisher, Grant Fisher, Craig Orr, Stephen Reid, Arthur j Cage, Ronald Parker, Nicki Hollis, Hini Northcroft and Ewan McCash. The carnival commences at 7 p.m. and all the above competitors are asked to be at the pool by 6.30 p.m.
