Hot pools patronised
Ihe sudden drop in temperature over the weekend attracted thousands of visitors to the hot swimming pools in Taupo. Lake swimming was at a minimum and those who braved the fairly cool waters were soon back on shore warming up again. From Saturday to Monday the A.C. Baths handled 7846 patrons and numerous complimentary remarks were made about > the new lido pool. Over the same period 12,000 visitors made use of the De Brett thermal pools.
