Scholarships in Britain

The Confederation of British Industry with the support of the British Government is offering three scholarships to be taken up in 1971 which will enable New Zealand engineering graduates to obtain practical training or specialised experience in Britain. Type A awards are open to recent graduates with not more than two years industrial or post graduate experience. These awards provide the cost of fares to and from Britain, together with a rnaintenance allowance to cover a period of between one and two years training. Type C awards are for more experienced engineers with not less than five years practical post graduate experience. They provide a maintenance allowance to cover a period of between four and twelve months specialised training, but do not cover fares to and from Britain.
