Holiday makers are in for a relatively quiet weekend, though some activities in the Taupo Public Relations Office 's Christmas— New Year entertainment programme are scheduled. Things hot up from New Year's Eve and all tastes will be catered for in a wide rangc of activities. The major influx of visitors is expected on Boxing Day and accommodation will be at an absolute premium from then until mid-January. The long range weather forecast , is for relatively settled and warm conditions. The programme for the next week is: Saturday: Leisure Time fishing contest starts at Information Centre and continues daily until January 24. Saturday and Sunday: Yacht club regatta with racing on the lake from 10 a.m. each day Monday: Four Square launch cruises on Laloma four times daily until January 2. Wednesday: Universal show, featuring Johnny Devlin, in the Memorial Hall.
