Swimming
Last Saturday four members of the Taupo Swim-
ming Club took part in the finals of the Teleprinter competition at the Morrinsville pool. In ideal swimming conditions, these four competitors put up a very creditable performance against top swimmers from Auckland and Waikato. Their placings were: Susan Burton — Third in 9 and under girls' butterfly. John Burton — Second in under 12 boys' butterfly. Stuart Orr — Fourth in 9 and under boys' breastroke. William Cage — Sixth in 9 and under boys' butterfly. Taupo Swimming Club activities will resume on January 12.
