The parking area at Opepe and the entrance to the A.C. cemetery bears a much-improved appearance following a working bee earlier this month by members of the Taupo section of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society, Two trailer loads of litter were collected from the roadside and reserve paths and taken to the rubbish dump. It is hoped that public use of a rubbish bin placed in a prominent position will reduce the litter problem in the future.
