MAN DIES IN CRASH

A young Taupo man died as a result of injuries he received when the car he was driving came into collision with two parkcd cars in Spa Road at 10.35 p.m. on Saturday. He was Piwi Nikora, 23, millhand, married, of Titiraupenga Street, Taupo. A passenger in Mr Nikora's car, Douglas Jacobs 23, also of Taupo received minor injuries and shock. It is believed that after passing a car that was making a right-hand turn, Mr Nikora's car appeared to go out of control and, after hitting one of the parked cars, overturncd on the driver's side.
