Many children in Taupo, Turangi and the surrounding district will probably be having a happier Christmas than they would have normally had, thanks to a community effort made by Taupo's radio station 1ZA. Response to the appeal for presents for the community Christmas tree has been good and the presents are to be wrapped on Monday for distribution to the children later in the week.
