TONGARIRO HIGH CLOSES

Twelve of the 13 students who gained Maori trade apprenticeships for 1971 will attend the Hamilton Training College next year, said Tongariro High School principal, Mr J. Cannons, at the breakup ceremony last week. He said that housing would be a problem, as next year's roll is expected to rise to 800. Eight buildings, including a double-unit art room and six prefabricated units, will be erected next year. Alterations to the deferred j staff work-room were also j anticipated.
