Guests At Meeting
Four sisters from St. Joseph's Convent, Taupo, were guests at the last meeting of the Taupo Catholic Women's League. The sisters are at present furnishmg the convent in preparation for moving in later in the month. At the meeting a presentation from members was made to Mrs Webley in appreciation of her service as treasurer for the league for the past six years. Competition results were: 3hrub, Mrs Crowther 1, Mrs McCormick 2; stalk, Mrs 0'Brien 1; bloom, Mrs Currie 1, Mrs McCormick 2.
