Sent To Gaol
Tividar Bognar Lay, 24, salesman, was goaled for three months when he appeared before Mr H. Rosen, S.M., in the Wellington Magistrate's Court for sentence on two charges of false pretences and one charge of theft. On a charge of obtaining jewellery worth £114/15/by false pretences, Lay was sentenced to three months imprisonment. He was sentenced to 14 days on each of the other two charges, which involved the sum of £15, and on electric heatef, worth £15/10/-.
