Alternative Names
Alternative names for the Taupo Youth Centre's proposed hall were suggested at the last general purposes committee meeting of the Taupo Borough Council. This followed the centre's request that the committee , provide alternative names. Two names were Whare . Ora Hall and Whare Katoa . Hall. Another name, sug- • gested by Cr G. Marlow at Monday's meeting of the council, was AC Baths Hall. He made this suggestion on ■ the basis that the hall will be built near the AC Baths.
