MANGAKINO CLASSROOMS
Two new permanent classrooms are to be built at the Mangakino Primary School, the Member for Taupo, Mrs Rona Stevenson, was today informed by the Minister of Education, Mr A. E. Kinsella. "The provision of two additional permanent rooms at the primary school is a step towards replacing the remaining temporary rooms so that when the population becomes stable, the school will have full permanent accommodation," said Mr Kinsella. "This year will see completed a three - stage programme to provide full permanent facilities at the high school for the estimated permanent roll, and similar action is now being taken in respect of the primary . school." The South Auckland Education Board has planned the additions and has been authorised to accept a tender for the work.
