Sea Scouts
Taupo Sea Scouts will be holding a public meeting in the Taupo Primary School tomorrow seeking the formation of a supporters' club. It will be similar to the sea scouts' committee and will assist the scouts in bbth a financial and practical manner. At present, there is only one full-time and one parttime assistant, but more are being sought. The Sea Scouts are trying to raise £250 to enable them to buy the boat, which is only on loan to them at present. It is used for practical training on the lake. Support is needed for this project.
