MANNEQUIN PARADE
TURANGI (OC) The Turangi - Pihanga Maori Women's Welfare League will hold a dance and mannequin parade on August 31 to raise funds for the Tokaanu District High School. The parade will take place at the Hautu Hall and Mrs E. Rickards, of Taumarunui, will compere the show. Gowns and dresses to be modelled will be on show, with others, for sale during the afternoon at the hall. The gowns will be modelled by local girls and women, assisted by models from Taumarunui. Jimmy Osborne's orchestra will supply the music for the dance.
