TURANGI. (OC) Tributes wer-e paid to Mr G. Mullins at a gathering in Turangi on Thursday afternoon. Mr Mullins has been woodwork instructor at the school for the past two years.

spoke of the work Mr Mullins had done over the past two years, particularly with regard to the way he transferred his enthusiasm for working in wood to the boys who have attended his classes from outlying schools as well as locally. Mr J. Lempriere, representing the school committee, spoke of the high regard with which Mr Mullins was . held in the community by both parents and school children. In reply, Mr Mullins said that the past two years would always remain with him as a pleasant memory. He had enjoyed his work and made many friends amongst the children he had taught.
