Gilkison, of Turangi, Company Director, wishes to apply to the Taupo County Council for its consent under Section 35 of the said Act to a specific. departure from the Taupo County Operative District Scheme, Tongariro Riding Section, to permit the erection of a new dwelling on his property situated off State Highway No. 1, at Turangi, being Lot 2 D.P. 11711, being part Section 3, Block I Turangi Town, Block 10 Puketi S.D. and all land in certificate of title Volume 430 folio 270 part. Such property is included in a residential zone under the said District Scheme and the erection of any building within 15 feet from any boundary on a rear site is not permitted. The design of the house is such that to take the best advantage of the section, it requires to be sited within 15 feet of the southern boundary.
