WOMEN'S MEETINGS
TONGARIRO C.W,I. Business was quickly dealt with at the August meeting of the Tongariro C.W.I. The guest speaker was Mrs F. McCracken, who spoke on how to keep the body fit through exercise. Inpromptu speeches were made by all members who drew their subjects out of a box. The mystery parcel was won by Mrs Mutch and competition results were: — Bloom, Mrs Mullins 1, Miss Craig 2, Mrs Gill 3; cluster, Mrs Pearce 1, Mrs Mullins 2, Miss Craig 3; pot plant, Mrs Gill 1, Mrs Pearce 2, Mrs Haddock 3; bath mat, Mrs Sherwood 1, Mrs Pearce 2.
