Nukuhau To Have Its Own Association
At an informal meeting of Nukuhau ratepayers, held at Nukuhau Pa on Sunday, a decision was made to form a ratepayers' association for the area. The actual formation has been deferred to the general meeting to be held in a fortnight's time " — on September 5. A discussion was also held on the Nukuhau nominees for the local body elections to be held in October. Suggestions were made for various members to go forward, and three names were mentioned. The decision on a member to stand for election was also deferred to the forthcoming general meeting.
