MUSICIANS NEEDED
One oboe and one clarinet player are required by the Taupo Operatic Society for its coming performance of "Amahl and the Night Visitors." Aside from these two vacancies the society is up to full strength with its cast and back stage technicians. The total number of active member s is now 75 and many other people in Taupo are showing interest in the society's future. Practices for the operatic performance are held each Tuesday night in the Methodist Hall. Later in the year, rehearsals will become more frequent as the dates for the public performances, December 8, 9 and 11, grow nearer.
