ALL BLACKS
Sir,— Within the past few days I read with interest an appreciation of those famous words of one of our great Maori All Blacks, namely Albert Pryor, in a recent issue of the "8 O'clock" sports news. In the year 1956, with a car-load, we headed for the Queen eity of Auckland with the many thousands of Rugby followers to see our Maori All Blacks receive such a thrashing. It. was a debacle approaching Dunkirk. With regard to the Springboks touring New Zealand and the Maori game coming up at Wellington, Sir, to my mind this will be one of the highlights of the tour — providing those Maori warriors who are selected give their many, many followers fast, open and above all, scintillating Rugby. The final team selected so far by Albert Pryor, to my mind, are first - class warriors. So, as we journey south on the 28th of the month in our multitudes, let our selectors take heed of Albert Pryor's advice and I do believe, win, lose, or draw, as Albert says, "we have nothing to lose." — Yours etc.,
ALBERT
