Honours were very even when Taupo-nui-a-Tia College played Henderson High School at winter games, on Saturday. Playing at Taupo, the college 1st XV. beat Henderson 14 — 9. W. Rewa kicked two penalties and a conversion and tries were scored by M. Ogden and C. Broughton, for Taupo. In the A grade basketball, Henderson beat Taupo, 16 — 11. Playing in Auckland, the Henderson girls' hockey team beat Taupo, 3 — 2. The Taupo boys' hockey XI beat Henderson, 15 — 0. B. Righton scoring nine goals.
