Many residents of Mokai, Wairakei and Aratiatia were present at the evening which was organised by members of the Holy Name Society. A presentation of a travelling bag and travel rug was made by the Mokai Maori people and, toward the end of the evening, Mr J. D. L. Corry presented Father McKillop with a substantiai cheque. S"upp@f Wdg served by women of the parish. Father McKillop, in his reply, said he had enjoyed the four years he had spent in Taupo and he was pleased to know he would be returning after his six months' leave.
