EXPANSION SHOULD GO UP
ON HILLS
TURANGI (OG) Any expansion of Tokaanu would have to go on the hillside behind the present village, Mr J. A. Asher, chairman of the Turangi Liaison Committee, told the committee last night. He added that when the Lake Taupo level was established at the 1177ft. level, the town would be "almost floating." The matter is to be investigated.
