Petition Sent To Department
The Taupo Borough Council has advised Mr P. Potter, Tauhara Road, Taupo, that a petition, signed by 300 people, requesting the council to take action to reduce the accident risk at the corner of Tauhara Road and the AC Baths Avenue has been presented to the Transport Department for consideration. The petition was initiated by Mr Potter after a recent fatal accident on the corner.
