The health and building inspector, Mr M. A. Miles, reported that 32 bnilding permits had been issued in Taupo County during June, as compared with 16 in June la,st year. The value of buildings was £45,295 and, last June, £19,954. Revenue from fees was £197 compared with £89.

Cumulative values of building since April were £122,693 compared with £55,070 during the similar period in 1964. A request by Mr Miles that council should consider a bylaw regulating the standard to which cabins in motpr camps should be built was referred to the reserves committee for a report.
