Hotel And County Both Broken Into

The Terraces Hotel, Taupo, was entered on Saturday night and about £25 in cash stolen from a bar cash box. Entry was made through a louvre window. The Taupo County Council offices on Lake Terrace were also broken into through a louvre window on Saturday night. The office was ransacked but no money was stolen. Taupo police - are investigating both burglaries. • THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Taupo Presbyterian Church parish will be held on Wednesday, July 28.
