Thomas, Tauranga Fire Brigade, 76, 3. Open solo, B. section: A. Thornton, Te Awamutu, 90, 1; I. K. Wise, Hamilton Citizens', 89, 2; G. Barham, Te Awamutu Muncipal, 88, 3.
