Highway

rnree sports teams from Taupo Primary School had more excitement than was bargained for when they set out for Napier, by bus, on Friday. The 33 children, from Standards 4, 5 and 6 found themselves held up on two occasions by snow on the Taupo-Napier highway. The trip, which would normally have taken the bus about three and a half jhours, took nearly five hours to complete. On Saturday the basketball ;and Rugby teams played Bledisloe Primary School at Taradale. Follow-

ing the sports the teams' members were entertained and billetted by their hosts on Saturday night. Before returning to Taupo on Sunday the children were shown Napier's aquarium and dolphin pool.
