INTERNATIONAL Construction Equipment Exhibition, London: The only full hydraulic continuous slow earthmover to be made in Britain, shown at the recent Construction Equipment Exhibition, near London, is seen here at work on one of Britain's nuclear power stations. Powered by a Ford 6-cylinder diesel engine developing 96 b.h.p., the excavator has an all-up weight of 12.7 tons and can withstand the toughest application with absolute stability. It has a loading height of 12 feet (13 feet 4 inches with extended dipper) and a depth dig of 16 feet 9 inches (20 feet with an extended dipper).
