BIBLE WEEK MEETINGS IN TAUPO

The first Bible study week to be held in Taupo started on Monday when the Rev. B. P. Williams held a group meeting on the snbject of Jonah. Ministers of different denominations will hold similar meetings during the week. Bible study week was arranged by the British and Foreign Bible Society whose members will carry out a house to house collection in Taupo on Saturday. About 30 adults, but only few children, attended meetings on the first two nights. It is believed by one Taupo minister that the present Bible week may be the forerunner of many oceasions of this type in future years.
