Badminton
Taupo Badminton Club has, over the past few years, diminished in membership until there are now only about 20 players belonging to it. In 1958 the closed membership of 45 players was at its maximum. However, the club is still able to provide teams to compete against other centres and the following are some of the fixtures for the next two months. June 29: Taupo v. Rotorua B at Taupo (Rosebowl competition). July 1: v. Putaruru at Putaruru (friendly match). July 14: v. Rotorua A at Rotorua (dropshot competition). July 27 and August 17 (fixtures have not been confirmed).
