DIFFICULTY WITH TESTS
Eight persons failed in 24 tests for drivers' licences in the Taupo borough last month. The main causes were again lack of knowledge of the road code. Thirty-nine road users were reported for various offences and 11 were warned. Twenty-three prosecutions were made. Three accidents were reported involving one death and injuries to three people. i
