Abandoned

An abandoned puppy was found tied to a tree by a short length of tainder-twine in the forest area on the Rotorua Road yesterday morning. The animal was brought to the Taupo branch of the S.P.C.A. for attention. Secretary of the branch, Miss A. J. Hyde said the puppy was in poor condition and it gave the appearance of having been tied to the tree for some days. Efforts will be made by members to find the owners of the dog.
