BRASS BAND CONTEST IN TAUPO
More than 100 entrants are expected to eompete in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Brass Bands Association Competition, to he held in Taupo on July 10. Taupo Citizen's Silver Band Avill aet as liosts on the occasion and at a recent meeting of the hand plans were niade to accommodate many of the visiting players who will reliiain in the town over night. T|he programme, which will be held over a full day, will inelude solos for juniors and seniors, open solos, duets, quartets and trios.
