CERTIFICATE FOR SCOUTS
Huia patrol of the Reporoa Boy Scouts was awarded the gold certificate for an over 80 percent camping standard at the recently held national Bata Superstrong camping competition, at Tatum Park. The patrol represented the Taupo area during the weekend-long competition. It was reported that the general standard of the competition is rising and another event of this nature will be held next year.
