Taupo Batepayers Assoeiation wonders if Taupo people are satisfied or apathetic concer ning matters in the town. The secretary, Mrs D. J. Dickinson, said two years ago people were frequently enquiring from the association about matters affeeting ratepayers' interests in Taupo, but over the past year, the only big effort the association was encouraged to undertake was the poll for the trust hotel. The annual meeting of the association will be held on June 22. Mrs Dickinson said 'possibly the only eontroversial matter to be raised will be the fluoridation of Taupo's water supply.
