Rotary Ball
The Taupo Memorial Hall was packed to eapacity for the Rotary Club ball on Saturday. About 240 people were present and £125 was raised which will be donated to the Taupo Ki'ndergarten. Members of the kindergarten. committee helped with - the serving at the ball and supper was provided by the wives of the Rotarians. The services of a number of Taupo people were donated for the ocpasion. Mr J. Millett assisted with the baking and Hesseis Home Cookery donated the savouries. Dccoration work in the hall was arranged by Mrs B. Dawson. The evening was spent dancing to the music of Mr E. Rouse's band from Napier.
