Lions Club
Taupo Lions Club donated £25 each to the Taupo boy scouts and sea scouts organisations from proceeds raised during the elephant race, held in Taupo in March. Among other projects, the club has provided seats and tables along the lakefront area and . it hopes to increase this amenity during 1966.
